Ali Turhan
Chief Medical Offier iPSirius
Ali G. Turhan, MD, PhD, is Chief Medical Officer and co-founder of iPSirius, where he is advancing iPSC-derived immunotherapies for cancer. A clinical hematologist, oncologist, and stem cell scientist, he is Emeritus Professor of Hematology at Paris-Saclay University and leads research at Inserm U1310 on malignant and therapeutic stem cell models. Prof. Turhan has pioneered the development of induced pluripotent stem cell technologies and translational NK cell immunotherapies, contributing to national and European stem cell initiatives that accelerate innovative cell therapies from preclinical research into early-stage clinical development.
Seminars
- Evaluating iPSC-derived cell products as alternative sources that enable single-clone, single-donor strategies with unlimited expansion potential
- Assessing cord blood versus PBMC versus bone marrow sourcing trade-offs based on cell content, engraftment kinetics and manufacturing requirements
- Investigating whether iPSC platforms will fundamentally reshape donor selection by shifting focus to optimal source material for iPSC generation
